Alexis Zeville

Alexis Zeville explore le monde de l’image depuis presque une décennie, à travers la vidéo, le film et la photographie. Il fut photojournaliste de terrain, pigiste caméraman/monteur à Radio-Canada de Montréal pendant trois ans ainsi qu’à AlternativeChannel.com pendant deux ans. Il a réalisé, filmé et monté plusieurs courts-métrages, documentaires, vidéo-clips de musique et danse, animation stop-motion et de la vidéo corporative. Il s’oriente vers les projections visuelles en live sur une multitudes d’évenements accompagnant des performances musicale et de dance.  Photographe pour plusieurs ONG au Québec et en Amérique Latine, il s’intéresse aux problématiques sociales de ces territoires. Autonome, communicatif et engagé socialement, Alexis est très actif dans la scène culturelle actuelle. Il est toujours à la recherche de nouveaux projets pour perfectionner son œil photographique et pour partager son regard sensible sur le monde.

For almost a decade, Alexis Zeville has explored the world of imagery through video, film and photography. He has done freelance camera work and editing with CBC Montreal for three years in addition to working for AlternativeChannel.com for two years. He has directed, filmed and edited several short films, documentaries, dance and music videos, stop-motion animation and corporate videos. His emerging path follows live video projections on music and dance performances. Field photojournalist, he has worked as a photographer for several NGOs in Québec and Latin America. He is interested in social issues of these areas as well as the beauty of their individuals and people. Autonomous, communicative and socially involved, Alexis is very active in the present cultural scene, continually looking for new projects with which to sharpen his lense gaze and which allow to share his sensible outlook on the world.
